As usual, Sarah Palin speaks with common sense, humor, and offers real solutions. Alaskans are blessed to have a Governor with the foresight to save revenue in times of plenty, allowing the state to have billions in savings while other states are begging for bailouts from the federal government. This is quite a feat for an “inexperienced” and “uneducated” woman. In this address to Alaskans, she reiterates the need to cut budgets in response to declining revenue instead of spending the people’s money recklessly. She also touchingly speaks of the value of each human life. I am hopeful in a few years, once the America people are tried of our nation’s leaders spending trillions bailing out their friends with our money, Sarah will re-emerge ready to lead with the tried and true principles of our forefathers.

Perhaps it’s just the “audacity of hope” or just a little too much Palin coolaide, but I predict a McCain win.  I believe there is a silent majority in this country that will be heard on election day.

Obama’s Response to McCain

Joe Wurzelbacher, now known simply as “Joe the Plumber”, was the real star of Wednesday’s debate.  Barack and Joe met by sheer coincidence while Barack campaigned in Ohio.  Joe Wurzelbacher asked Obama questions about the American dream and why Obama wants to tax him more.  Obama responded he “wanted to spread the wealth around”. The candidates mentioned Joe 23 times during the course of the debate.  While Joe will not reveal which candidate will receive his vote, he’s made it clear in subsequent media interviews he does not approve of Obama’s tax plan.  He believes Obama’s redistribution philosophy amounts to socialism.

It appears Joe is now the target of the media and the Obama campaign.  (Sorry for the redundancy.  I realize the media is indeed a wing of the Obama campaign.)  The shocking truth has now been revealed!!  Joe may not have the proper plumbing licenses required in Lucas County Ohio!

Even VP Candidate Joe Biden has begun attacking “Joe the Plumber” saying he doesn’t have any plumbers or cops like him in his neighborhood:

We are now seeing the worst kind of intimidation and scare tactics used against everyday Americans who would dare to speak against “The One”.  I wonder, will this cause ordinary citizens to think twice before they voice their concerns about Barack Obama?

It’s pretty sad when the main stream media digs deeper into Joe’s background than Barack Obama’s.

Much has been made of a video of Kenyan Pastor Muthee prayer for Sarah Palin.  The pastor prayed for Sarah, the nation, and against “witchcraft”, a term often used by African Christians.  I think it was a perfectly nice prayer, but some have decried the video as “strange”.  This video can be viewed here:

However, any possible controversy caused by this prayer pales in comparison to Barack Obama’s frightening connection to his Kenyan cousin Raila Odinga. Odinga is a a radical socialist, educated in communist East Germany, who ran for president of Kenya.  Obama traveled to Kenya, using taxpayer funds, and campaigned for Raila Odinga. After Odinga lost to Kubaki by 231,728 votes, he said he had no choice but to call for demonstrations, sparking ethnic warfare.  Some of Odinga’s supporters set fire to an Assembly of God Church in Eldoret, killing 30 villagers:

In 2007, Odinga met with the National Muslim Leaders Forum and agreed to institute Islamic law in Kenya, in exchange for the group’s support.  It is truly frightening Barack Obama could support such a man as Odinga.  Please watch this video, and pass it on:

Sarah Palin has been mercilessly mocked for saying she has some foreign policy experience because of her role as Commander of Alaska’s National Guard and Alaska’s proximity to Russia.

In fact, Russia will be testing live fire cruise missiles near Alaska.  Russian air force spokesman Col. Vladimir Drik has said their military will be “practicing the strategic deployment of the armed forces including the nuclear triad.”  For more info, visit this site:

This is not the first time the Alaskan National Guard has needed to be on guard against foreign threats.  The Alaskan National Guard is in charge of the Missile Defense System, and monitored North Korea missile tests in 2006.

During the debate, John McCain told a touching story about a mother who gave him the bracelet of her son who died in combat.  She asked John to make sure he had not died in vain.  In an immature “my dad can beat up your dad” moment, Obama responded he had a bracelet too.  He couldn’t remember the soldiers name, and had to clumsily look down and read the name on the bracelet.
