The “Peoples Republic of Kalifornia” is attempting to push through Building Energy Efficiency Standards, Title 24. If implemented, new homes and existing homes must be fitted with PCTs (Programmable Communicated Thermostats). The California Energy Commission has proposed that all irremovable PCTs will contain an embedded one-way FM-RDS radio, which allows authorities to control each home’s temperature remotely.

That is crazy, California comes up with some crazy ideas. Are they going to put special ones on Window units? If they have problems with electricity then produce more, buy some or raise rates so people wont move there… The problem is the way California goes the rest of US goes in 5 to 10 years.
